A Little About Me
I was homeschooled from Pre-K to college. My mom always told me that the world was my classroom. I grew up exploring Smithsonian museums, cultural spaces, and historic sites throughout the DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia).
I still embrace this mindset today. Even more, I love sharing this perspective to help more people make everyday life an adventure.

Nickname: If you haven’t guessed, my nickname’s Lexi.
Book lover: My first big obsession was The Cheetah Girls book series when I was seven.
Collecting enamel pins & pressed pennies: Currently on a mission to collect a pin from each Smithsonian museum.
Curly hair girly: I love trying new styles and celebrating natural hair in pop culture.
Cozy hobbyist: My go-to wind down activities are puzzles, crafts, and cozy video games.
Exploring wellness: Always up for something new. Right now it's online tai chi and somatic yoga.
My Media Journey
I fell in love with storytelling as a kid. I grew up with empowering and educational content like Reading Rainbow and American Girl Magazine. The stories I enjoyed as a child showed me the power of meaningful storytelling.
As a teen, I started exploring types of media, producing projects, and growing my skillset. This path led me to my degrees in Mass Communication and Strategic Communication from Prince George's Community College and Howard University (HU!).
My Current Adventure
Now, I am building my own media hub to create the kind of the empowering storytelling and digital community spaces shaped my life.
